R,I,P,

Come over here and join me,
let's sit together for a while,
We can do some people watching
that always makes me smile.
I do so enjoy the time I spend with you,
having a good old chat,
for an hour or two.
Now the Vicar's giving me
that 'are you still here?'look.
I had better go,
time for me to sling my hook.
Next time I'll prune that Ivy,
that's creeping all over your plot,
or else it wont be long before
Ivy is all that we have got.
Now I'll go home and watch the T.V.
thinking of all the years gone by
that you used to watch it with me.

I can picture the scene so vividly Jenny one of peace but such intense loneliness ...I'd hope any vicar would be a little more understanding! So lovely to see you back on soup my friend:-) hugs Jan xx
