Ringtone

Ringtone
The silence is torture as the clock crawls almost to a stop.
Every nerve on edge every hair stands in end.
Muscles are so tense as if they have never know peace.
It’s hard to breathe with this invisible weight on the chest.
Vision is blurry and it’s hard to see through the waters that build there.
The body is poisoned weak and useless with an antidote.
Still waiting for that sound. The sound of acknowledgment.
The sound will let you breathe again
The sound will let you see again
The sound will relax your body
The sound will give you strength
The sound will cure your illness.
Just check that your phone isn’t muted…..

It's difficult when, you're "still waiting for that sound." This is filled with so many emotions. Your thoughts caress softly around me and my heart. ~ Brandy

It does feel creepy to me, after reading this again. Oh, my ! I see what you mean. I was thinking one way, and now I'm going down a different road with this.

When I wrote this one it could mean so many different things for so many different people and honestly the anticipation is a killer but thank you for the kind remarks.
