It is always sad to see old men ignore the wisdom of youth and abuse their powers like tyrants.

When youth speak listen Wisdom is in the listening not the age A Greek tragedy is the murder Of a young flower in bloom evil dwells in the garden of Eden

Yes it does , the death of a flower is always a tragedy. We live in a harsh world, we got to do everything we can to preserve innocence , seed and bud. Thank you for sharing your tenderness.

Sometimes we learn important things when we listen to young people. What they say matters -- they are the voices of tomorrow's leaders. Beautifully expressed, Arthur. Hugs, Carolyn

I really appreciate your thoughts on the wisdom in young people, Arthur- there are not many "innocent" youngsters around today- they grow up as voyeurs of the often horrific acts of adults. Some make the decision to never become like that, and their experience makes them speak out against abuses. Wonderful insight from your pen!

So very thought-provoking. Perhaps young or old, he who prays for wisdom is wise already.

Although wisdom is acquired with age, since there are many years of one's experience.. There are exceptions to the rule.. One can also be a wise person in his or her 's youth. Depending upon their growth. A lovely couplet, my friend.. Penned perfectly! Beautiful picture!! Blessings to you..

Age is not a diploma to claim that one has gained wisdom, but it's often used as an excuse to say and do the wrong things...always in expectation that have others believing anything they say is righteous. I lay adrift in the gentle waves of your notion.
