Ride Free
Let my soul rise free,
Let my body be.
No one shall ever know,
No one shall ever care,
Buried under the snow,
In the middle of nowhere.
Let me ride,
Let me scream.
Carry a pistol at my side,
Open road is my dream.
Flat out across the badlands,
Racing against the sun.
The glimmer of the sands,
Earth and sky are one.
Live life fast and free,
No rules for me.
Let me sleep,
Let me dream.
Coyotes howl in the night,
Desert night for me tonight.
Wake in the morn,
Another day in a life too worn.
Kick the hog and roll away,
Ride to the rising day.
Ride to the town,
Kicking dust brown.
Let me ride,
Let me scream.
Give me the open lands,
Give me my hog in my hands.
Let me ride,
Let me scream.
One day I will die,
And I will no longer ride.
