Rich Lives
Some gain riches and power with the beauty they hold
But inside their heart - is icy and cold
They know just how - to turn on the charm
And just how to wield it - to do the most harm
They get what they want - any way that they can
No one is safe - whether a woman or man
They smile in your face - as they plan your demise
Seemingly friendly - their words are all lies
They seem to get away - with anything that they please
Floating through life - with the greatest of ease
They think they will get - all they'll ever need
But inside your thoughts - let me plant a seed
There is one truth - to hold highest above
The very richest lives - are those filled with love
