Just a note kind sir, I am aware of the Native American plight and would like some verses on it. I was trying to say...so much real human, blood,s weat & tears went on..why were so few remembering and giving me dry history recounts? There were miners & asian chain gangs on the railroads, there were mountain men..so much color, scents, tastes, sights....this was the westward movement. Loved your verse above! A real winner!

Was watching Jimi on youtube last night and noticed that "dyslexic manner" of which you write, Abe. The stars in stripe formations are a nice touch. He did seem to live and create art in a "purple haze." Love, Carolyn
