Rhythm Of A River




Current glides in wild slope along the dense forest, rattling and burbling over rocks. As my paddling arms sway with wind’s tempo, canoe pulses with the wild flow. Waves roll to smack the edge… Vines tickle strong current.

Love the imagery! You can almost feel the canoe moving, hear the water, and sense the forest around you. Very lively and engaging.

Thanks a lot for coming by to read. I'm glad you love the story and picture dear poet friend Paula! I've capsized twice and I nearly drowned but I learned instantly and could even race with the others in the long wild river of Trang. Thanks God I'm feeling better now from bike accident.
