Rhubarb

I put my shoes on back to front
to step into the past,
sent my watch by express mail
to make the time go fast.
Wrote 'atom' down as 'mtao'
just to generate unclear fusion,
told my friends I wasn't there
but an optical illusion.
Put my head on upside down
for a thicker head of hair and no beard,
when you can't think of topics for a piece of verse, then
what the hell-
do weird.

Thanks Viv, just what I needed this morning, your always clever wit. Sorry I haven't visited lately.

No worries, James, I must apologise likewise, an awful lot on my plate at the moment, so I only get to play catch up infrequently in decent size bursts. Glad you're well. regards, Viv

Hi Viv, good poems still come out of thin air and this one does do that. A fun run and easy read. Edward

Yes, the human mind is an odd thing, if I thought about that toomuch I'd probably start worrying. Glad you enjoyed taking a wander through my back catalogue, Edward. Regards, Viv
