I will write a few gathered words about my love
who I adore
and will collect his passion in a big glass jar . . .
how our bodies fit together like puzzle pieces
as he whispers in my ear
when he touches me my blood is pulsing hot
and my body ignites with a deep ache
I breathe him in . . .
and we are lost in a wild whirlwind of love
with the sheets in a tangle . . .
I love him so much
and want to be sheltered in his arms ever
oh, I have found my safe sanctuary in his beating heart
my refuge in his soul and shelter from my pain
he is my anchor and my life . . .
I stroke his face and lips and he smiles down at me,
and whispers, I l o v e you . . .
and beyond the closed curtains the sun is shining,
as he kisses my ruby lips . . .
