Notes About The Poem

'rhapsody'

I will write a few gathered words about my love
     who I adore
and will collect his passion in a big glass jar . . .
how our bodies fit together like puzzle pieces
as he whispers in my ear
when he touches me my blood is pulsing hot
and my body ignites with a deep ache
     I breathe him in . . .
and we are lost in a wild whirlwind of love
with the sheets in a tangle . . .
     I love him so much
and want to be sheltered in his arms ever
oh, I have found my safe sanctuary in his beating heart
my refuge in his soul and shelter from my pain
he is my anchor and my life . . .
I stroke his face and lips and he smiles down at me,
     and whispers, I l o v e you . . .
and beyond the closed curtains the sun is shining,
as he kisses my ruby lips . . .

Ah dreams, they can be so wonderful but yet so sad when you find out that it was only a dream and your life doesn't have what was within it! This write has so much passion within it, so full of internal love that I felt it within each line! Your picture goes so well with your poem, an awesome picture too! A swirling of emotions is felt all throughout your delightful poem my friend! What an exquisite piece, Great Work!!
