re-writing is needed
when words seem to write themselves
without my say-so

I enjoy writing, then something makes the write take a turn and a whole different perspective appears. So sometimes it's a good thing >> James :)

I take it you do not, then, appreciate the introductory comments that are often found at the beginning of some editions of classic novels, usually offering their interpretation of the author's intent and purpose in writing the book. This is how, by the way, I discovered the fate of Anna Karenina. I had not even read the first page of the book; so rather a sore topic. But how do we know the author's intent? Yes, your grook was unambiguous, but many poems are not.
