Reverse Psychology
When strangers turn to friends in sudden gleam,
Their smiles are sweet, but truth lies far below.
The warmth you feel is but a fleeting beam,
For time reveals the faces you don't know.
When friends, once close, now wear the mask of frost,
Their laughter echoes hollow, empty sound.
In tangled webs of love and hate, you're lost,
A simple word can flip the world around.
The heart's a fickle beast, it loves to play,
With twisted games that lead to paths unknown.
What once was gold now tarnished, turns to gray,
The seeds of doubt within your mind are sown.
Beware the dance of truth and lies they weave,
For nothing’s ever quite as you believe
