A gentle cool spring rain falls down
Saturating blossoms fair
Daffodils with lowered sweet heads
Wait without a care
Sunshine covered with clouds very gray
Raindrops cleanse the spring air
Flowers receive moisture's rebirth
Out to play children's prayer
Spring fever is in the cool air
Birds' mating calls echo
So lively are the pairs' display
Resounds in the meadow
