This item created an issue for Walmart Canada. It goes to show we might not want to look for trouble. There's information on this shirt online. I felt a regret regarding the title of the previous poem posted today, so I thought this poem could make amends (to anyone who was misled or offended). Of course, this poem might offend too. OMG, there's no escape here, and I can't even blame AI.

Retail's naughty c-shirt

A t-shirt you'd buy at the mall
An acrostic on it would scrawl
With re-cycle first
Re-use was then versed
Two lines more caused a small recall

Hi there Andrea, There's an acrostic in the shirt if you ignore the "RE." It created a problem for the Canadian vendor. We have to be careful when we write anything!

Thanks Jennifer....you have no need to apologize! Your work and comments seem lovely. Much appreciated! We did not get what many of us wanted, but that's how this works...winner take all. We'll see how this impacts all of us over time. So far, I expect it's going to appear odd, but let's hope for a better world!!

Hi Jan....they are for sale online now although not from any major retailer. I did buy one for myself and a work friend as a discussion starter. I'm pretty sure you can find it!

SO, you adroitly point out that our lives are all connected. There is a lot of exploitation on this rock. There is sufficient wealth to allow all to live well, but we haven't realized how to structure a system that allows this to happen. I call it oligarch hell.

Tom, sorry I didn't get to this sooner...seems the less I have to do, the busier I become. So far, no negative hysterics. It is something few people would notice...you are correct as per usual! Talk to you soon, hopefully. The election here seems to have sapped my creative juices. I was appointed to be a poll worker on Nov 5 and hope it will be peaceful then and in the days after.
