Resting In Peace

much can be said about
Black Flag and Raid
the devious poisons
that for bugs are made
in obvious places
the concoctions are sprayed
leaving the residue
that i think bugs crave

they creep around
tasting the ground
dust laced with poison
they lick their claws
unaware of the laws
kept crawling giving not
the slighest pause
to the dizziness
the crave has caused

no running no hidding
but quite surprizing
the cage growing inside
a few more steps
not many left
deep sleep
furiously calling

on the back
and under attach
bug has bugs inside
legs twitching maybe itching
from sickness it decllnes
and i wonder as it slumbers
is it hurt or is it high
not far from wall
where poison did fall
this unwelcome creature
will die

what can we say
about the sprays
that keep us safe
from harm
always working secretly lurking
constantly on guard
when they kiss they never miss
its love for eternity.
lye back and rest
its for the best
from Rest In Peace security

furiously calling

Thank heavens for pesticides. I can't stand crawling and flying stuff. Nice rhythmic flow you've managed here. Well done. By the by, your writing style is very much like a friend of mine's, 1 of 3. Licia :-)

Way to go...The question is what does it do to humans?...I am glad that we have it though..If we didn't have it each home would have to have a few geckos to take care of the roach population..Thanks for stopping by..Sara

Bugs bus bugs if I had them all in jugs I'd dig dig dig a big big hole and that would be the end of bugs. Most entertaining situation.

I'm diggin' this. The perspective here was a bit unique. Plus, I can't stand bugs anyways. Natural selection! lol
