Restful Dreams

The sun bursts its last energy to be seen With the brightest golden rays of the day Before it rests, falling behind distant mountains Spreading hope across the scenic land Leaving patches of frozen snow behind For the shining moon to reflect upon later As the hours approach the coming nightfall, Nature has a way of saying goodbye and hello To all who are watching with open eyes Offering brilliant colors, bringing peaceful dreams Encountered in restful sleep, after a kiss goodnight Heidi Sands 2/29/20
