Respect

Respect is something that we all learn,
But some of us learn to earn the respect that we yearn for,
Respecting our elders and respecting all women,
This is something that should be a given.

People forget who brought them up,
And start giving lip like they think there grown up,
When really there not there just trying to act hard,
And all of this attitude is just a facade.

To earn the respect you should be noble and proud,
Instead of being tough or following a crowd,
Too many people get respect for wrong things,
Like fighting and drugs and all the bad things,
We need to go back to the days when bad was looked down on,
And make pride a think that parents can be proud of.
