Respect
R E S P E C T
what does it mean to all society?
people have always been unwilling to see
that it's not about them and it's not about me
even with all the evidence right up in their face
the Pharisees were unwilling to acknowledge Jesus' rightful place
so stuck on the outdated and antiquated laws
even after Jesus showed them that they were flawed
eyes closed to the miraculous impossible
ears unhearing of the Lord god's new gospel
people tend to be closed-minded
about someone else's ideals
incapable of seeing anyone else's viewpoints
or understanding what they feel
but as one body in Christ
we must all learn to see
that different is not a bad thing
it's about individuality
for the body is made up of many different parts and aspects
and each part is important and deserves it's own respect
people should try to get along and live in harmony
respect each other and co-exist as God wanted us to be
it's not just a given, respect must be earned
an important lesson in this world that we all should learn
