Resolutions For 2016

The Clock strikes Twelve, The old year's gone
Reflect on what you've seen and done
Absent friends, no longer here
Raise your glass to those held dear

Now close the door on what has been
Make the best of 2016
Conquer challenges or find solutions
And try to keep your resolutions

Write more poems to share with your Peers
That will be read through laughter and tears
Encouraging comments to all in this group
Will make you a Stalwart of 'PoetrySoup'

You are the owner of your dreams
Make Real, however hard it seems
Live, be Happy, Grow and Gain
Before the Clock strikes Twelve again
