RESOLUTIONS

my resolutions?
i don’t dare think how many
so?  won’t make any

two thousand thirteen
will come with january
fade – february

just like all the rest
predictions are numerous
cartoons humorous

politicians bad
the voters all up in arms
sick of d.c. charms

prices going up
wages quite stationary
unemployed many

uncared for homeless
with their numbers increasing
and rich desisting

i’ll sit by and watch
expectations will be few
all in all what’s new?

Ah, maybe this year will be different and better, Daver? At least the Mayhem calendar was wrong.:) That's a hopeful beginning! Resolutions aren't easy to keep, so this year I made none. A somber write, Daver, but had been very true for 2012. Keep well...Love, Mikki

There are a lot of undercurrents in this Poem, you care a lot more then how you present your work. I like how you use irreverence.

I see the truth runs naked here Daver, We hear so much about its Existence, And The need of it 'specially from the " Ruling ones" yet I think they are not Really convinced of its strength, cos They Keep on having to revive it (( L O L)) some bad people must have Been trying to kill it off.."
