Reset and Reshape
the covid 19 pandemic has altered humanity ...
laid the world bare ... recovery will take time
and the way we live must be altered
globally values have transformed
and wait
for a world-wide reset
~ I have changed so much since the beginning
of this pandemic that I am not the same person
but a better person has evolved ~
world-wide we must build together
stronger expectations, become more resilient, greener
together we can build a better planet ...
but we need solutions from world leaders
it will not be simple ... but we can and we will
~ as I watched on television the horrors of covid 19
something inside of me was born and a person emerged
with serenity and tranquility in her heart ~
reality is the pandemic has made some rich
large businesses thriving while small close
people lose their jobs, masks mandatory ...
children unable to play in parks ... or go to school
people died 'alone' ...
~ we are almost there as populations get vaccinated
soon societies can amend, modify and revamp
with far-reaching plans ... all-embracing
... and to those we think the pandemic
was a conspiracy, I say ...
tell that to the millions of families grieving deaths
and who could not even give their loved ones
... proper funerals
~ soon, it will be time to reset and reshape
are you ready ? _ ~
