Requited
Echoes hide on the waves, of the rippling pool Disturbing the reflections, as they cross one another As vanity slowly slips, into the deep, another lost duel The unrequited love, fuels a fire but not the hunger The streaming musical fades, into a dull black As one lonely voice, repeats your last word But things you uttered cannot be called back For what was meant to be said, was never heard
Based on the Echo (mythology)
