Requiem For Living

the sunshine dancing about the nebulas lands squarely upon the earth then peeks through the kitchen window with a most inviting smirk the guitar resting quietly plagued by strings out of tune prays there will be time to play those Mississippi Delta blues a sonnet screams for pronouns there is no answer to this call lying on a sheetless mattress staring holes in the apartment wall I am busy, yes I am busy don’t they know I am busy I am busy, oh so busy busy dying
