Requiem

Every atom went still;
Nature slipped into trance-
Meditating.

I looked up and around
Overawww…ed!
I went in ecstasy;
I saw requiem-
Requiem by Gods and Angels
Who mourned my heart-break.

The skies grew gloomy,
In their darkest hue.
The Thunder Gods scowled.
The Livid Gods ho….wled,
Flashed their anger!

I went in ecstasy;
I saw requiem-
Requiem by Gods and Angels
Who mourned my heart-break.

The angels sighed,
Shed their tears,
Deluge for my pangs,
My muffled sobs-
Make- up of sanity.

I went in ecstasy;
I saw requiem-
Requiem by Gods and Angels
Who mourned my heart-break.

My heart is open
To let you in,
Shelter from fury-
Fury of Gods and Angels,
If you saw…

I went in ecstasy;
I saw requiem-
Requiem by Gods and Angels
Who mourned my heart-break.
