Request To the Spirit That Inhabits Me

Oh my spirit, my soul!
 that dwells in me ad eternal,
why didn't you plead with me to die
at least every thousand years
and with prior notice!?
why do you carry me  to die thus
 that way without warning and with
almost always less than a hundred years... ! °
