Reprieve

Settle in my dear
Don't wrestle no more
The blood is sustaining
What is life for
No need to fight this one
Just take a rest
bask in the sun
Outside you'll see
There's more to be
So you have tired feet
and crumpled hands
can only good happen
to those who give a damn
come sit and breathe
for all of your trials
and sufferings
will one day be brought to their
reckoning....
please stay, discover your
much waited glorious reprieve
