Repentance

I’ve committed a sin Such sin worth me disgraced, Cursed, renounced and despised To Him I confess this sin With a vow not to repeat This flaw that showed me defeat Merciful He is That I’m blessed with forgiveness Such forgiveness I deserve less But this ungrateful sinned once, Twice and countless I abuse the word forgiveness Cause He is Merciful I sinned unmindful Strayed like a lost soul Cold and hardened by sins All I gained is emptiness From what I thought was bliss This sinner has none but remorse Do I deserve another chance For all these disobedience This sinner who took no heed Repented, cried and begged For forgiveness I badly need This sinner sincerely prayed Never again be erred Never again be strayed He is Merciful indeed So many times I sinned Yet He forgives as if I have no misdeed My sins may be great Yet my Lord is Greater Who loves and forgives the sincere This sinner lived life anew Made up for her past sins At last I found peace - Written on April 26-27, 2017
