Repentance

The wind danced over failing hopes; A disaster strikes on the spot- Carrying tears of our regret; The answer was closer than we thought. Accumulating aching hearts And frustrated minds And broken bones; We strive to grasp all that is left; No one for the other. O, how can we save ourselves From falling with no one to catch us? Denying it will all come to an end When life as we know it Crumbles down. Wait, here comes the water; A current so strong To sweep us off our feet; Offering a new chance to breathe. Take up the hand that Extended with warmth; Will you repent all the wrongs? Accept all the woes? So finally- We live again.

You know this poem actually suits me very well - I was a Methamphetamine cook serving time in prison when I found the Lord and started writing out all of my sins in poems to put together books in order to help others not make the same mistakes I had - So I can raise my hand and yes I have repented my sins not only to the Lord but for the entire world to see - I have nothing left to hide and as the last line states - I now live again - Wonderful spiritual poem - God Bless
