Repentance
The wind danced over failing hopes;
A disaster strikes on the spot-
Carrying tears of our regret;
The answer was closer than we thought.
Accumulating aching hearts
And frustrated minds
And broken bones;
We strive to grasp all that is left;
No one for the other.
O, how can we save ourselves
From falling with no one to catch us?
Denying it will all come to an end
When life as we know it
Crumbles down.
Wait, here comes the water;
A current so strong
To sweep us off our feet;
Offering a new chance to breathe.
Take up the hand that
Extended with warmth;
Will you repent all the wrongs?
Accept all the woes? So finally-
We live again.
