Renewal
He marveled at the beauty in his wake
The fiery sun settling down for the night
Reflecting off of the sparkling glass lake
Like rainbows dancing wildly in the light
He basked in the harmony of this place
The loon’s call resonating in the air
A world bestowed upon us by God’s grace
Nature’s realm like an answer to his prayer
For it brings healing and peace from above
When his life burdens dampen his spirit
Pure land and air gives rise to renewed love
And faith in God to carry him through it
He rose from his spot on the grassy hill
His fractured soul had now become hopeful
Walking calmly away he felt the thrill
Of connecting with God and being thankful
