Renewal

Fire raging in the distance, Preparing to overtake all in its way. Majestic pines reaching to the sky, Soon to be reduced to cinders. Animals flee their nests and burrows, To make a new home in another place. Some run but never make the journey, To a place, safe from impending doom. As the ashes cool and the rains begin to fall, Green life pushes thru the barren earth. The woodlands flourish, the animals return… It is nature’s way.
