Remote Obsession

I see you through half lidded lenses, the curio of my obsession. I see you constantly. This love affair in my mind, I can not control. You invade my thoughts and dreams. My every waking moment involves you. I see your face, eyes, and smile. I hear your laughter on the wind. I turn my head to the sound only to see you're not there. I struggle to resist the temptation, the urge I have to be in your embrace. You are quicksand for my soul engulfing my being one smile at a time. I yearn for your letters to hear your velvety voice to feel your gentle touch. This vast expanse that separates us, magnetic poles alike, crossing borders, leaving here and going there. What else can stand the test of time.
