Reminders On the Wall

“Say Cheese!”
Ah, those words that mean so much;
smile, you are now being made a part of history.
Will it be a 4 by 6, 5 by 7 or 8 by 10?
Does it really matter, the size?
Not at all, if like everyone else,
many of these just end up in boxes
fading yellow with age.
However, so many of those poses;
sitting, standing, riding, swimming,
laughing, smiling and crying
may one day end up being displayed.
Those are the ones honored.
They are the tributes to the past.
Those fleeting, but glorious moments in time
that were captured for posterity.
They are what make us smile today.
They are what made us smile yesterday.
They will continue to make us smile tomorrow.
They are part of us and we are part of them.
They are my reminders on the wall.

I like how you included what size the picture might end up being. an interesting thought.
