Wow nostalgia in the fast lane! Or, as Eddie Haskell would say: You've developed into quite the bard, Gershon. Just kidd'n, you really are a fine poet. Robert

Great nostalgia. The 50's certainly did include "quite a cast"

Indeedy-do, Marichal and Warren Spahn too. Remember that 1-0 game that Spahn won (age 41) in 1961 (I think). Both pitched complete games... And then there was that Harvey Haddix perfect game through 12 innings that he lost to Lou Burdette, somewhere in the late '50's. Those were the days... Now Kershaw is lifted after 7 innings of a perfect game. What happened to this country?!

Those were certainly the good times Gershon, didn't become too aware until the early sixties, another good era. Tom

Ah, you missed out on a great decade there, Tom. Nothing like the '50's. ~ Hair E. True Man

This is so strange, gw, because just this afternoon I made a list of somethings I remembered from my childhood (the 40s and 50s). Amazing! You're showing your years, my man! I loved the way you made it rhyme.
