Remembering Tavish Macbain

Tavish Macbain had a funeral pyre that amazed most of Shetland Isle You could see the burial ship burning for a solid Viking mile. His days of valor were behind him, he had shown the enemy a good fight. We watched with awe as his ghost ship flashed into the August night. His relatives had been Picts, tattooed with interesting items indeed. they spoke the ancient Celtic language and knew how to ride a steed. Tavish Macbain will be welcomed with open arms in Valhalla for sure. His fighting prowess was amazing, and his ideals were spiritually pure.
