Remember My Mercy

It’s all out there and in here too.
The pain, confusion, and anxiety.
What is a person to do,
who lags in the virtue of piety.

It must be given to One
much more powerful than I,
And so I have done,
But not quite, so that’s a lie…

I take back what I have given,
And suffer it all over again,
Though I’ve been forgiven,
Such is the haunting of sin.

How could I have ever done these things;
Is what the too proud conscience sings.

Robert, Once again, we find ourselves trapped in the Holiday Season. And, hear I am stopping by to say Hi and to wish you a Merry Christmas once again sincerely from my heart. Loving each moment I found comforting here on the soup. Thank you for any comment or support you have offered now or in the past. Love always & forever ~ PD

I sing this sad song with you Robert; when one retires there's so much time to think and remember. How are you dear friend? Hope you both are ok.
