Love the old CSN and Young also. So neat to hear it from your perspective Debbie. Very sad the 4 young lives who were lost that day in Ohio. Was going to listen to the song and here you had the link. Great choice. Take care Debbie.

Ohhhhh, I loved this Deb! You took me back to yesteryear, though I was shy and tame at that time, I enjoyed watching the free spirit of others.

Who can forget that indelible photograph, caught in the moment at Kent State. ?? Trying to fight a war with peace....a daunting job, but some are brave enough to risk their lives. :) Thanks for the remembrance!

Such a crazy event ... and a crazy time, really. Of course, I've only been able to read about it. I've never visited the site of Kent State, but I have visited Tianamen Square....I really like this poem, Debbie.

One of the great things about being a writer is that we can time travel. We can revisit and relive another place or time, whenever we feel like it. And also, take everyone else along for the ride. This poem did just that. Great writing, Debbie!...Thank you very much for the kind congrats on my poem. :)
