Remember?

Remember,
When we were excited to go back to school?
When we slept soundly through the night?
When the biggest problem we had was a scraped knee?
When there wasn’t a worry in the world?
When we cried only over a bruised arm?
When we could say “I’m doing fine” and not be wrong,

Or even,
When we cried over a bad grade?
When our biggest burdens,
Looking back now,
Were
         Just.
                 So.
                      Childish.
yeah,
I long for those days to come back too
