Remains of a Wasted Time

So I hold remains of a wasted time.
For prophecies I pray, yet sky is still dark.
Signs of fortune my dreamy stairs they climb,
Mortal desires set as a divine mark.
In narrow cells the world's memories withdraw,
Sirens' gnarled hands are forming Nature law.
As I lay my waves upon trident's sea,
Destination changes leave the wheel on me.

I really like the way you summed up our message in that last line -- quite profound, Valeria. Best wishes to you in Dr. Ram's contest, Carolyn
