Relief Behind a Tree

After guzzlin' beer Gus needed to pee

He sought relief behind a nearby tree

Before the judge he was fined

        To which Gus gravely opined:

"Where e'er you be let yer water flow free!"

True enough, and I've done it many times to my much needed relief! Thank you so much, Robert, for stopping by to read me. My health is not great but I'm still alive and writing. Best to you. / M

G'day Bob … a fine limerick Bob. He should have asked the judge what he was supposed to do. I mean, surely the tree didn't mind - thanks Bob - Lindsay

Thks for commenting on my latest nonsense. Relief is a true tale. When I was assigned with the USAF in Bermuda Gus was our squadron boozer! He'd tap me towards the end of each month for funds to quench his thirst but always paid me back on pay day! Carry on, Old Mate
