Relax Me

Sitting in the couch, headphones plugged in: my brain numbed, my skin senseless. You pierce my inner soul, though harmless you have come, trying to fight those cancers... that have taken residence in me. You fill my soul... truth of your rhythm throbs, and my aches and pains vanish, tensed muscles relax, cloudy skies turn clear. And my soul, you brought back to life. Now it won't stay dead anymore, but will sing with you, a song of thanks.
