Rejoice In the Lord Always

Jesus, our faith's author and finisher,

Commands us to rejoice in Him always,

In life, He's our worry extinguisher,

Our joy's in Him, when we walk in His ways,

For He's promised His presence all our days,

In sorrows and troubles, we look to Him,

Delighting in His Word, we sing a hymn,

For the Lord has given hope to our soul,

Eternal life, where praising God won't dim,

Agendaless exuberance, our goal.
