With a masterful display of imagery, this haiku encapsulates the intricate dance between a tsunami and maroon algae, as they intertwine their destinies with that of the oak tree. May you and your family have a wonderful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, dear friend.

Aloha, Lasaad. I caught this while doing my song of sonnets as I thought to add some of the endangered species, and this popped up as an oddity, not endangered. Reading about the baffling circumstances of their existence...so, Mele Kalikimaka a Hau'oli Maka Hiki Hou 2024. Aloha, William

Interesting lines penned. I don't have any idea the interpretation of it though. Thank you for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara K

The algae are the deepest known plant underwater off The Bahamas I think. It grows without sunlight since it requires photosynthesis via sunlight to grow, hence, these algae's are clueless to sunlight and the tsunami uprooted the algae that ended up by the oak tree. It tossed religion into the mix since the oak tree, clueless of the algae, believed that darkness was their god and was welcoming them to light as a new god.
