Try singing this to the tune of Frank Sinatra's, "My Way" (1969)

Frank S. had a few But then again 'Too few to mention' Yet to this, my plea Please take heed Very kindly, pay attention Who hasn't had affairs of love that ended bad full elbow shove Down on one knee in misery Pure discontent-ion... The flame returned but you got burned Entreaties spurned both fists clenched and -- You vowed, "No more!" there on the floor in Regret's descension But know one thing There comes the Spring and Love will bloom So, give it room And then, once more True Love will soar ~ Your Heart's Ascension! ******** Yes, know one thing There comes the Spring When roses bloom So give them room And once again True Love will send ~ Your heart a-winging!

Hi Gershon, This is different and very entertaining - I did feel my foot tapping - true! Regrets - we have a few, (Frankie boy)! Think you should promote this poem to advertisers, or the music industry - really cool poetic verses! Hugs, Jennifer.

I think you should be a song writer. I personally, do like it with reference to the melody of My Way P.R,

I really appreciate your letting me know that this poem works for you with the melody of 'My Way.' Very happy to hear it...And thank you for your interesting suggestion. I am somewhat musical. In fact, I have broken the glass walls of several showers in my time. LOL. Thanks again. ~ Gershon

It would be such a bleak world if we did not optimistically pull ourselves back up and try again after being smashed to the ground, and pulverized. This poem reminds us, take a chance! Be Doris Day!

I think it has more punch without my trying to fit it to music, but that's a good idea. I did enjoy the pensiveness of it.

Wow. You have really helped me here. I didn't think that it worked too well without(!) the music, and now you've let me know that it has. 5 Stars for your help, my friend! Most appreciated. ~ Gershon
