Regrets - Maybe a Few

Every single breath I take
Each hour I’m awake
They come but once
And then are gone
Forever vanishing into space
So never must you ever waste
Enjoy ~~
There is no need for haste
Live each and every moment
Each day a brand new sunrise
Her colour ~ her hue ~ is new
Exquisitely diverse
just like a day within my life
Never knowing what will come
be it happy ~ be it fun
Maybe tears under the sun
but no one knows what is to come
so live your life with joy
Be kind ~ Be good ~ Be true
Take in the simple things of life
Don’t yearn
for what may cause you strife
As after all there’s just one life
So do the best you can
Don't bury your head in sand
‘Cos you will never ever
get that day
that hour
that minute
that second
ever back again…
So do not treat life with disdain
you'll only have yourself to blame
Just look around take in life’s view
regrets ~ maybe a few
but in the end
enjoy each day
that life has given you…

Thank you dear Gordon so glad you enjoyed it. I hope you both enjoyed your trip to Southport and that the sun shone down upon you. I am away for a week on Friday 20th having rented a house nr Walmer/Deal on the south east coast, right on the beach. it is very quirky and looks amazing and will be going with family, so I hope the sun continues to shine. With kindest thoughts Ann xx
