Regret

Oh dear Lord
Who is this person who does not know?
Chooses not, to learn of the world,
And expand their knowledge of all Your things beautiful.
Are they not but a waste of body?
If they choose not to learn of all Your creations,
And to walk in Your world with eyes shut to further education of Your structures,
Do You not cry in confusion,
And regret free will?

Interesting questions to ponder. We all have our regrets--good thing the Lord is willing to forgive. I see you recently joined our Soup family. I hope you are enjoying your time spent here. Best wishes with your writing. Karen

This is a great write, Micah. I believe that the only thing that we can take with us when we move to the next realm is our knowledge. So, we do need to learn about God and His creations. Smiling. Dane Ann (soup mail)
