''Refracted Reflection''

Some may write
                                              Some stay still
                                   Hand still not standing
                                       Mind of it's own will

Written about them more than I care to admit
                                           Feet getting jealous
                                         Ready to throw their fit

                                                   Humor
                                                      I try
Though now and again I do not get a deny

Their laughter and smile I do long to see
                             Reflections offering something different

                                        Pieces of the mirror
                                          Refracted pieces
                                           missing of me

                                            Different people
Diluted images stop to say hi
                                            A simple glance
                                         Regrettably regretting
                                    Though this not good bye

374 days since I saw her smile''But whose counting''
                                                                                                   ''JustDoc''

''We'' kicked round one of stage three in the throat
                 Round two was a demon
Round three,Our Father brought her back Home
                                                                                    Miss you ''PeeWee''

Sorry to hear of your loss. And also sorry that this is such a belated note. I just was looking through the list of people who follow me and noticed I hadn't seen any poetry from you lately, so came by to check how you were doing. Hope the sun shines a little brighter for you everyday.

When we lose a loved one we also lose some pieces of ourselves. But, we shouldn't let that be the only reflection of us... An expressive poem, Jai, and so very moving... Nicely written!
