reflections on Easter

we know Jesus resurrected from his tomb
thus basis of belief in eternal life
but why then Easter egg and not Easter womb
is the question that cuts through mind like a knife
the answer being simply our head ovoid
shaped like the cosmic egg pure and unalloyed
out of which we’re hatched reborn when ego dies
paving way for spirit to reveal sunrise

Eggs symbolize new life, rebirth, and fertility, making them a perfect representation for the resurrection of Jesus. Ovoid, I learned a new word. It's good thing I took a look! Happy Easter US~

Yes, you are correct. I was correlating resurrection as being reborn, that is, when ego does, we are reborn. From the kundalini or energy perspective, we are reborn when hatched out of Hiranyagarbha, the cosmic egg, after which balanced polarities descend to the heart, becoming one again.
