Life’s a long and hard paved road It’s never a gift , it’s just bestowed But when you reach up to the sky All your dreams will never die Your set to rest in this holy place The golden gates announce your grace It feels so true but I cannot see That the one suffering here is me This distance that divides No love to set me free I never signed to this loneliness This is not what I had planned Looking for a sign When nothing’s really, there If heavens the place where you roam Why am I sad and all alone?
