Reflection

Looking in the mirror she whispered to herself
Where did you go
Once upon a time she used to be happy
Now stuck on this Plateau

Filled with whispers of nostalgia
From the past
A tear rolled down her cheek
Wondering how long this would last

The long crack running down the glass
Resembled her broken heart
But there was still beauty within her
Like an Exquisite piece of art

I may not find who I was,
But I will find who I am,
All this pain will make sense one day
I will understand

Become stronger learn from each experience
Life is short each decision has significance...

This was fantastic. So descriptive are your lines that I felt this as I read it. I loved the line about the crack in the mirror resembling her broken heart. That was so cool. One more..."I may not find who I was, but I will find who I am" I wish I had written that and the ending, uplifting and positive. Nicely crafted.
