Reflection
Image is reflection cast back on oneself
The days we don't care we just put on the shelf
When we look at ourselves it is not what we see
It's the torment of truth that will NOT set us free
If the world cannot show us whats really the deal
We will never see what it is that is real
Why we continue after all that we've seen
Toward hope we will push for our outlook to lean
Behind our eyes is really all that we see
The dreams we put forth are the roots of the tree
To look at ourselves is often quite tough
Ignoring ourselves makes everything rough
The mirror will shatter if we look at it deep
If we ignore what it says we'll permanently sleep
So never ignore what you're capable of
The difference will be between hatred and love
