Reflection

Who is this girl that stares back at me? There's so much pain in her eyes So many scars across her arm So much hurt in her life She doesn't know her worth Or is she worthy at all? She feels she is the one to blame For her father not loving her Who is this girl that stares back at me? There's so many tears in her eyes Fears in her life She wants out of this world Out of her life Who is this girl that stares back at me? Who doesn't smile at all? Is this really me in this mirror on this wall?......

Perhaps Breana you don't realise, the strength it takes, to look into that mirror, or the courage it takes to write these words, its a funny thing how we can never see our bravery and strength until someone points it out to us...normally we just see it as our sadness or weakness.. but in truth, if you look carefully you will find a rare and precious honesty that many people do not have or even contemplate...
